<description>"Inflated sense of one's intelligence and abilities" is the first thing that comes to mind for the talking heads in the clip. I remember learning in college about a group of missionaries who were concerned with the effects of literacy on the Third World populations they were trying to reach. Those who were able to read then had access to information from the outside world, and they often grew dissatisfied with what they had and may grow violent in an attempt to obtain it. This caused much bloodshed.

I can't remember which missionaries these were, but I'm pretty sure they were Anabaptists. They weren't sure whether they were responsible indirectly for the bloodshed their new readers caused, or if that was on the heads of those committing the violence.</description>
