<description>No one has answered yet? Okay, then, I will.

My spiritual disciplines are as follows:
Twice daily I recite the Shema (Deut. 6:4-5) and the Lord's Prayer.
Twice daily I do a Bible reading (about 20 verses each time) with a portion of my community.
I spend a period of time either daily or weekly in silent prayer in order to give God an opportunity to speak without the distractions of my busyness or of the needs and desires of others pressing in.
I seek to spend time with the poor-- from my children, to the homeless to the mentally ill-- listening to them and of their struggles and lives daily.
I am always asking and answering the question, "What can I do to show love to this person?"
