Great intro. Elkhart is a wonderful place. I have a friend who associates colors with everything. She can remember phone numbers easily because each number has a color that goes with it in her mind. I especially loved the paragraph about color. For me, its light. Especially light in the hour before sunset (or the hour after sunrise on the rare occasion I'm up that early). I love just sitting and watching the light flow over everything. And taking photos of the way it brings out colors.
