Wow. Thanks for pointing that out Eric. Sometimes I forget my own context.
There was an SNL skit awhile back, where they were talking about the United States government repatriating a bunch of Native American artifacts. The commentator paused for a moment and then added, “And as for the land, well, we’ll be keeping that!”

equally profound was pat’s assertion that building a security fence– no, two– each 15′ high with a road between will save lives– “john, 3000 people died in the desert trying to get across! you will stop that. you will save those lives.” what a humanitarian!
