When God tells us to love everybody, even those who don’t love us back (Matt. 5:44/Luke 6:27-28), isn’t this an imitation of the way God loves?
When God tells us to be generous and give to everyone (Matt. 5:42/Luke 6:30), isn’t this a reflection of God’s universal generosity?
When God tells us to be merciful and compassionate (Matt. 5:48/Luke 6:36), aren’t we following the example of God’s compassion and mercy?
When God tells us to be nonviolent in the face of violence (Matt. 5:39-40/Luke 6:29), isn’t it because God is the ultimate pacifist?
When God tells us to forgive without condition or limit (Matt. 6:14-15/Luke 6:37), can’t we assume that God’s forgiveness is limitless and unconditional?
Surely God doesn’t have lower standards of behavior for Herself than She has for us.
So when God tells us to refrain from judging others (Matt. 7:3-5/Luke 6:41-42), isn’t the implication that God is not in the judgment business?
We think so.
In the end, we believe, God will gather all Her children unto Herself. Every. Last. One.
“On this mountain God will make a feast for all people.” (Isaiah 25:6)
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I won’t forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15)

why do you bother using scripture? I guess thats a rhetorical question. I know the answer.
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him. (John 3:36)
And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Mathew 25:46)
I would be wonderful if hell is empty. but some people like you choose to reject Jesus.
Just for one – God will be “in the judgment business.” We as believers are to judge those within the church, God will judge those outside the church. Also – “It is appointed to man once to die, and after this the judgment.”
Please let’s not presume that those whose theological beliefs differ radically from ours “choose to reject Jesus”.
Remember that in Matthew 7 and Matthew 25 those judged unrighteous are surprised to know that they rejected Jesus. How easily might I fall into that category?
“Without equivocation or hesitation I fully and completely admit that I deny the resurrection of Christ. This is something that anyone who knows me could tell you, and I am not afraid to say it publicly, no matter what some people may think…
“I deny the resurrection of Christ every time I do not serve at the feet of the oppressed, each day that I turn my back on the poor; I deny the resurrection of Christ when I close my ears to the cries of the downtrodden and lend my support to an unjust and corrupt system.
“However there are moments when I affirm that resurrection, few and far between as they are. I affirm it when I stand up for those who are forced to live on their knees, when I speak for those who have had their tongues torn out, when I cry for those who have no more tears left to shed.” (http://peterrollins.net/?p=136)
